This is "History of England for Public Schools: Authorized by the Departments of Education for Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia", published by MacMillan Company in 1922 as part of their "The Western Canada Series". It has red cloth covered boards with black lettering and decorative columns on the cover and spine and a black MacMillan Company crest on the back cover. It covers history in England from 55 B.C. - 1920 C.E. There is a photo of King George V as a frontispiece and it is equipped with an Index in the back for easy referencing.
This book is in very good condition. It has light wear and discoloration on the covers and spine having some bumped corners. The inside pages are intact having some smudges, notes, margin doodles, etc. The binding is sound. Please see the photos.
It would make a wonderful gift for a teacher or author.
