Hoeght Pottery vases

These are two handcrafted vases done around 1980 I know this cause ones says 80 on the bottom. They are handcrafted by Eric and Carol Hoeght from Tambourine, Queensland Australia . Eric was born in Canada in 1940 He had originally been a computer expert in Canada but became disillusioned and bored with his profession. He decided to learn pottery, and eventually opened a pottery workshop together with his brother Ken, in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. There they worked during the late 70's and early 1980's, producing functional pieces using various Japanese techniques. Here are two of the pieces that he made
