Hollinshead & Kirkham (H&K Tunstall) porcelain tray, 1930's England

Hollinshead & Kirkham (H&K Tunstall) porcelain tray, in very good condition but light signs of wear due to the age but no significant signs of wear. The woman is commonly referred to as the crinoline lady and she appears in different garden style settings. Platter bears the 1930s H&K Tunstall green stamp on base. H&K's version of the classic Crinoline Lady theme features a woman, in elegant period dress and bonnet, standing on a cobblestone path holding onto a bouquet of brightly colored flowers. There is a tree and a covered bridge in the background. The edges of the plate are lightly raised and features a very broad band of hand-painted, multicolor florals set against a cream-colored ground. Measurements are: 13 inches long by 6 inches wide.
