Holt Howard Hand Painted Cozy Kitten String Dispenser & Scissor Holder Cat Decor

Vintage Holt Howard Kozy Kitten String and Scissor Holder Wall Pocket. Circa 1958 This highly collectible and hard-to-find string holder features a charming smiling white-faced, green-eyed cat with blue eye shadow. Apart from the precious pink ears, this kitten has an equally precious tartan bow collar. The bow is hollow on the side allowing space to hold your scissors. The bottom is stamped: "1958 Holt Howard". This charmer measures approximately 4 1/2 inches tall (tip of ear to bottom of the tartan collar) and is approximately 5 inches wide, measuring across from ear to ear. The inside is approximately 2 3/4 inches deep. Two holes are crafted in the back for easy wall hanging(one hole is broken). This piece can easily sit on a table as an ornament. There are a few very minor "flea bites", one on the tip of an ear, two chips on top of the scissor holder, and one mounting hole inside is broken. there is some staining on the bottom and on the inside rim. ***Please keep in mind, I am not an expert in jewelry or vintage items.
