A great example of 1970s Scandinavian industrial design. A hard to find item. IKEA Rondo cast iron stand with cork base and cast iron casserole, designed by Carl Gustaf Jahnsson in 1978. Stand and cast casserole converts into a fondue pot. Base is made of cast iron alongside cork table pad. The burner has a sleek modern cone shape with cork handles. Stand comes with original orange Ikea packaging, but with damaged corners. Designer: Carl Gustaf Jahnsson Designed: 1978 Manufacturer: Morsö Jernstöberi (Denmark) for IKEA (Älmhult, Sweden) Base only sold on picclick for $150. Used once or twice. In excellent vintage condition, minus a few flakes of candle wax.
