Midcentury pottery vase handpainted by Quebec artist Hubert Du Roscoat.  Painting depicts a rural winter scene of a country farmhouse with a red roof. Perfect cottagecore Canadian heritage decor. • Blue, cream, and red • 4.5" tall x 5.5" wide x 2.5" deep • White clay pottery • Glazed interior • Signed front lower right • Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Hubert Du Roscoat was a mid-century ceramist born in Brittany, France. He moved to Quebec, Canada and was active in the art pottery community for many years. This original painted vase is typical of his style with a rough clay finish and images of rural houses.  M3-2
