Great pre worn condition Size one 100% Wool wool cape/poncho featuring the iconic multi-stripe pattern of the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) point blanket, likely manufactured by Johnstons of Elgin. Johnstons of Elgin is a Scottish company known for producing high-quality cashmere and wool products, including items made with the traditional HBC stripes.  The classic pattern features green, red, yellow, and indigo stripes on an ivory background. These colours, sometimes called Queen Anne's colours, were popular and made with colourfast dyes when the striped blankets were introduced in the late 18th century.  Made in Scotland
