Product Information Perfect for travel or daily outings, this lightweight and roomy tote features a storefront scene with HBC's multistripes The multistripes of green, red, yellow and indigo were introduced on the Hudson's Bay Point Blanket at the end of the 18th century. The colours were chosen because they were popular, and easily produced using good colourfast dyes. These four colours are also sometimes known as Queen Anne's colours, since they first became popular during her reign (1702 - 1714). Today, you'll find an assortment of clothing, accessories and home items adorned with the HBC stripes. Condition notes: there are a few places of darkening, have not tried stain remover-see pictures.
