Hudson's Bay Company HBC Stripes Varsity Tartan Fleece Throw

Function and style combine in this all-season fleece throw with removable carry straps. Our custom varsity inspired tartan incorporates all our multistripe colours a new dynamic way. The multistripes of green, red, yellow and indigo were introduced on the Hudson's Bay Point Blanket at the end of the 18th century. The colours were chosen because they were popular, and easily produced using good colourfast dyes. These four colours are also sometimes known as Queen Anne's colours, since they first became popular during her reign (1702 - 1714). Today, you'll find an assortment of clothing, accessories and home items adorned with the HBC stripes.
