Huishan 2 Clay Figurine Blanks for Magnets Small 2"

Dimensions 🔆 The dimensions of the figurine are 2 in * 1-3/4 in (5 cm * 4.5 cm). Condition 🔆 Excellent condition. The cracking of the paint, which is visible in the photo, is almost imperceptible to the human eye, visible only upon close inspection. Description 🔆 Two hand-painted Huishan figurines. These are not traditional figurines that can be placed, but, most likely, blanks for magnets. They are made of plastic black clay and are flat at the bottom (visible in the last photo). By gluing a small magnetic plate to the back side, they can be placed on the refrigerator, for example. Huishan clay figurine is a traditional Chinese folk art with a history of more than 400 year. On 2006, Huishan clay figurine was added to the first batch of National intangible cultural heritage lists with the approval of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. The raw material of Huishan clay figurines is black mud, which is taken from the foothills about 1 meter below the ground on the northeast slope of Huishan Mountain.
