They don’t replace a real winter boot made for snow, but i would say if you wanted to wear them in the winter when the conditions aren’t icy or too snowy they should be warm enough. They are waterproof so the snow wouldn’t permeate. There is a decent amount of grip so they’d be ok with a little slippery surface for sure. Please note: These weren’t my boots so I didn’t wear them so I’m just going off of what I can see and what I looked up about hushpuppies 😊
