They put house of Cline ,which was only one of my possibilities, as my username and I had wanted it as my possible closet name. They said they would go back and change it so everyone is probably confused now.

see people with different usernames and different closet names all the time. The message that came in after yours was like that. Her username was a much longer version and sounded Italian than her closet name. I just wanted something a little more different or substantial than Sondra's closet. Not sure now what i am going to do????? really don't like shelpen. Just used it to get something on paper when I first joined up. To this day Siri will not spell that word and I use Siri constantly

@fionaceleste below the very old picture of me are photos of my cat babies in heaven. I wish I had photos of all the dogs I had during my first marriage in the 70s. I had a borzoi which had been lost on the interstate, German Shepherd's and loads of stray dogs I would bring home from the landfill where people just dumped them. I think God has a special hell for people who abuse animals, the elderly, their children or their spouses. I hate bullies.

It is such a nice quiet lake. Hope it stays like that this summer. Nice neighborhood. it's about an hour and a half drive for us to get there so it's easy. Lol we are addicted to our two cats and probably spend 5 hours a day telling them how adorable they are. Also we love Atlanta and next time we are in Georgialand we are all drinking and having fried chicken together!

One lady gave me a four star rating at one time, my only four-star, because they did not deliver her package the day they should have and said it was not deliverable. They brought it the next day with no problem. Address and everything on my label was correct. USPS fault and I get four stars. sorry, bet that was a hassle.

@shelpen I only work from my cellphone as well. It works like this . I would put in 1 of 6 of our share groups , each group has 5-6 people in them. I assign a group for your group to share 10 for sale items from each closet of the group assignment. This should take no more than 20 minutes to do from your phone. 💋 its been a pleasure to meet you. @shelpen You have to drop the price 10% from the lowest price the listing has ever been. You can have a flash sale to where you drop the price to have everyone who has ever liked it to get a notification saying that you dropped the price. A good way to keep track of this is to like one of your own items and then drop the price 10% less than it has ever been. That's the only way a notification gets sent out

If you drop the price to $90, it will send out a notification to whoever has liked it Good trick: Look at one of your listings and see if it's worth dropping the price because if only one person liked it, then the notification will only go out to one. Everyone else who hasn't liked it will not get one.

@thriftstorebol thank you so much. I never had children so they are my babies. The last photo are of my three-year-old ferals Who are total sweethearts. I had a humane place tell me one time no one wanted to adopt ferals because you couldn't love them and hold them. So wrong. The first photos are of my four 20 something year olds I lost about four years ago all within two years. Heartbreaking.

@bagladyish1970 I would give anything to have all those four cats back with me. they all died within 2 to 3 years and were all right around 20 years old. I still grieve over them. The little gray cat and CC looks like the main coon and one of the tabbies are all brothers and sisters from a gray mother like Little Missy. Big Missy was the neighborhood Feral and finally let me start to feed her but never touch her and then one day she brought me the three little bundles to start feeding.

But one lady who's clothes I purchased the most helped me trying to make my closet look more like a closet that belonged together. I think the biggest thing is the white backdrop and another thing is putting a frame around each photo. you have some great things. I'm not spending a lot of money but you have a couple things I really like

@cowboy3023 The best advice I can give you is something a good friend on posh told me. Always shoot your photos on the same plain white background. You may have to use a big piece of white cardboard or if you sell clothing, hang on a pretty hanger and again use a white background. I don't have all of mine corrected yet. Another thing is to use a frame around your photo. Are you using an app or just what Posh gives us to set up a listing which is not much!

I am working and trying to figure out a new app now that will take out the background and replace it with white space ! A different lady who uses the app is sending me instructions. LOL. Will try and find a simple app and let you just look it over.

An app is a good idea. Still use my desktop pc for everything else--comments, shopping, etc. but for Listing, I must use cell which I'm all thumbs. Will give it a try by doing some research for apps. :-)

@cowboy3023 One thing I really don't like about posh. I have a laptop, which is locked up right now, but I use my husband's to share on posh which is much faster than sharing on your phone. I did not realize we could only create listings on a cell phone or a tablet when I joined posh. I have since purchased a tablet which I hate and my cousin is trying to get it to work to my specifications. Funny. You could use your laptop to practice on a photo. Crop Frame at Cetera

I spent too much time on posh sharing and following when I should be listing. Other than wrapping items nicely with tissue paper and thank you notes etc when you sell something, Listing takes the longest and I have got to get moving on it. Check my spelling by looking at the app name. found it by doing a search on the App Store which was already loaded on my phone. If you don't have that just do a search for Aviary Photo app. It's free. Lots of things you can do. Cont

@cowboy3023 First download the app and say yes when it wants to use your Photos. It will pull up all your photos and you select one you want to get ready for your listing. First just try to crop a photo and save that. Then move over to frames and find a white frame or one you like and save that. Cont

@cowboy3023 You can add text and play around with that. I think then you hit done. The photo is then saved with all your photos and you can select it when doing a listing. Your original photo should still be with your photos and beside it will be the one you have adjusted. Hope this makes a little sense. Just play around with it. Amazing some of the things you can do.

@krickette27 favorite cousin was called crickette. he's now in his 50s. It's such a cute nickname. I just woke up and fry it a couple of chicken breast in a Porkchop that are probably been in the freezer too long. I never cook. Hate it. I cooked along with my two sisters growing up because mother was working. Was good cook my first marriage. he had two sons we had all summer so you had to cook.single eight yrs and didn't cook. 23 year

Hey! Thanks for the review! A suggestion on how to hold keys, what I do is wear it as a crossbody with the pouch facing outside, so it's easily accessible with my hand and vandal proof too! @tinmarkis Unless you can afford it, Most. People don't use boxes. Some do use actual wrapping paper and bows. Some don't use anything. Some years clear or colored Ziploc type bags. Tomorrow I will pull out some photos and Internet addresses to let you look around. Also send you copy of my last order from USPS. My posts office is small and they don't carry that many. Some people just use brown boxes

I didn't have much because I've never ever really bought for myself ( I have 3 daughters, after all..haha). @shelpen I don't sell as fast as I'd like to, but I make 4 or 5 a month. One of the tips I was given a few months after I started was not to mark my clothes down. They said that I should wait until I had quite a few likes, then price drop and see if it sells. Also, some people will wait forever for you to mark something down! Lol

@gunner1215 I just wish I could find someone I could pay to help me online with listings and actually do work in my closet with followbacks and shares. Had a lady one time shared for me every day and I paid her a small amount every week. We did not live in the same town. At one point she had agreed to take all my jewelry, which is costume and there is a lot of it, make the photos and List them in a different closet for me. But then she took another job.

@gunner1215 I get so desperate feeling because I probably have 5 to 700 pieces of clothing shoes and bags, not counting jewelry. A lot of it I have the photos for and the descriptions which I got permission for and copied from other poshers. Simple to list when I was about to start setting of a real office when everything happened to the family

@shelpen that's tough!! Another piece of advice I was given was to not try to list everything at once, but to list 2 or 3 items a day. Doing new listings will keep your closet at the top of the feed. And it's not as overwhelming as trying to do it all at once. You should check with one of the girls in your neighborhood.. maybe one who lives near or maybe works at the store you shop. Have her come a couple times a week to help. Most of the teens I know would love to do something like that

@gunner1215 I periodically Mark my prices up and then down. A lady i purchase a lot of stuff from, most of the pretty stuff, does that. The items I’ve got down there for five dollars have been in my closet for a year. Going to have a huge yard sale this spring and try to get rid of a lot of stuff that I was going to sell on posh. I generally put several things on sale when I have the shipping drop was price drop. Leave it a few weeks and then put the price back up!

@shelpen I've done that too. I had a pair of shoes marked as low as 11$. Finally booted the price to 35$ and sold them for 25$...lol. It's just random when the right person will see it and purchase!

Edit your pictures every once in a while by just moving a different one into your cover shot. That puts you at the top of the feed too. @gunner1215 thank you dear. I actually do edit my pictures what little sharing I do. have that one cell phone purse, never going to sell, in four colors. Chg to show color as I’m sharing do that with several other items got in from staying with Mike’s dad. Mike staying tonight. I’m driving to see sister in rehab about 30 minutes away friday. then back to Mike’s father to spend the night. My life has changed but I would do it for any one who feels pain or sick or injured.

@2edgy closet is very slow but I have two ladies who are helping me share it. My sister and brother-in-law were in a horrible accident about five weeks ago and my sister is still in rehab after being four weeks in the hospital. She could possibly lose her foot the break was so bad in her ankle. We are praying. They both had bad concussion and fractured ribs and she has a fractured neck. Some stupid idiot ran right through a red light without even slowing down.

@2edgy And then my father-in-law about three weeks ago who is 86 and still works selling Carpet yarn had a horrible episode with a gallstone getting out of the gallbladder. Surgery to remove the stone and surgery to remove the gallbladder which was infected and had to take part of the colon and now has a colostomy bag and a feeding tube because he can no longer swallow. He was the happiest man except for losing his sweet wife, Mike’s mother about five years ago. He is leaving

@2edgy hospital for rehab Tomorrow and if he does not have to go eventually to a nursing home will be coming to live with us. So Mike and I spend our time between the different hospitals. I can’t say I don’t get tired because I didn’t have a very active life before this so this is good therapy for me In a very sad way. Keep us in your prayers Friday. Love you

Most recently husband had prostate cancer surgery and is still recovering. I don’t get on posh enough, I don’t share enough and I don’t list enough. I’ve got to get myself perked up. And love your kitties, my 1st one lived to 20, she had CRF and my 2nd was 15 and also developed CRF. I knew how the disease progressed and made the decision to have her euthanized when her quality of life tanked. She was 15 and this happened in Feb. I am currently waiting on the next one that 'needs me' to find me. I can hardly wait to meet her or him!

@missrochelles I have been a redhead most all of my life and enjoyed it immensely. I decided to see at one time how much gray I had, and I had more gray than my mother. So I went gray. Only my mother and my husband liked it. Everyone else says go back to red. . Didn’t Know if you had been here to see my four beautiful babies I lost a few years ago. They all passed between ages of 19 to 21. I miss them so much.

@shelpen Yes I was looking at your kitties. I’ve had many kitties. I had one that was 18 and the only reason why we had to put her to sleep is because someone shot her with a BB gun and the bb caused her to get glaucoma in one eye. She was too old to go through surgery so we just waited until we saw she was in too much pain. Even the vet cried. She was a very special baby. I mourn just as much over my kitties as I do humans. 😿 I’m sorry you’ve lost some too.

I myself have previous stray. A beautiful, young tortie-and-white with the sweetest green eyes that showed up in our yard one day, meowing and purring away. About 8 years later and she is now ours. Upon taking her to the vet for her initial exam, they found a microhip in her with her previous owner's info but could never got in contact with them, and she legally became ours.

I have always wanted to paint, but I just don’t have it in me. This is my favorite photo of myself and it was done probably 30 something years ago at a city arts and craft show. A young artist was doing these for $25 or something. I was amazed Not to sound prideful. But she captured all the different things, little things, like blush and earrings and hair.

I’m sure I already mentioned that I lost my last Siberian Forest cat Lizbeth Godiva “Lizzy” a week before her 16th birthday. Plus I lost a close friend the same month. I still miss her. I waited 8 months to get Trixie Leoness. She was sooooooo worth waiting for though! She is the PERFECT personality for our family and she is so affectionate and considerate too! If you ever want a Siberian just lmk! They are hypoallergenic too!
