Do u just love that Dior bag on Poshmark, but aren't sure if it's authentic? I can try to help. I've been buying Dior for over 12 years online and at Dior boutiques - I'm a collector, & I'm SICK of seeing all the fakes on this app. If you tag me on the listing you're interested in I'll be happy to look at it for you & give you my opinion. flamingjune5dwj @ladyqstuff Hey! Thanks for all the shares! I took a look at the cute polkadot Dior - it looks vintage. Do you remember when you bought it? It's hard for me to see anything in the shots you posted - I would need to see clear photos with the inside tag showing front and back and more clear pics in general. The pics are just a bit fuzzy. flamingjune5dwj @ladyqstuff it's a very cute tote. If I would guess I'd say it was produced when Gianfranco Ferré was creative director. Galliano took over from him in 1997. Those gray paper tags with the oval haven't been used in a while so I know it's pre-Galliano. I mostly collect Dior post 1997 to present but have a few old 1980s leather bags. Yours is microfiber I believe - that was really popular in the 90s as I recall.

flamingjune5dwj @ladyqstuff I don't blame you - it's so hard to part with those really unique vintage items esp when they are cute! I heard of a girl that collects very vintage bags that had an older bag so rare that the designer wanted to pay her to get the bag back for their archive. I can't remember which designer it was but that would be so amazing lol ☺️

flamingjune5dwj Of course - it's just an iPhone 5 actually but I make sure the lighting is good - I use a room with some track lights in my house or a couple good lamps & and make sure HDR is turned on and it actually is quite a good little camera 😊

I'm not looking for much in particular - there is a listing a bit further down in my closet for a particular pair of embroider koi fish shoes - but other than that it's whatever speaks to me 💕 I also collect the other LVMH brands so if you have any of that too I may be interested as well.

flamingjune5dwj @blink1822 just wanted to amend what I said about the interior - I misspoke about the bag having logo inner lining, most Dior bags from the 2000s have a logo lining but it seems this collection had a plain colored interior. Either black or red.

flamingjune5dwj @madisonkosel I took a look at the white Hardcore Dior speedy from eBay and it looks good and authentic. I love that collection so punk rock! 😍 One note - the bags from this collection are temperamental - they are awesome but the dye used to stamp the white denim fabric with the text and images runs and bleeds badly if gotten wet. Just a heads up to watch out because I ruined a mini saddle from this collection before I knew better and you see many online for resale with similar issues.

wnybda great ideas, Poshmark does fight the trade war against dupes and verifies designer items for FREE! Another reason to love Posh! More resale sites are now doing this to up their game. but you can also use "Real Real" who will give you a certificate of authenticity! happy poshing!
