Hi! I'm Dawn. I am totally addicted to Dr Martens, i am learning all i can about them, Buying/Selling and of course COLLECTING DMS! I'm always interested in buying more, either for myself, or to resell, yes, i resell, but i spend hours and hours on them first to make them look as close to NEW as i can get them to be! That included hand washing all the laces, disinfecting the insoles, scrubbing the heck outta the soles too, and i only use DM products on them! Wonder Balsam and Dubbin. Love =)

mrsdrmarten It was the Thema boots I was looking for... and I found them. I ordered them from the Ukraine! But thanks for your help. I found another pair of boots I saw once in Houston in 1993 that I had never seen again until 3 days ago... the hammer and sickle. I had forgotten about those completely... I may pick those up.... but ouch on the price tag. Have you ever worked directly with dr marten on a repair? I have a stud missing, and I’m not sure where to replace it. It’s another European only pair

soappups @cherryblast hello!😊, Yes, I clean them up, some take a few days, I sorta fell into this, I needed new shoes (tailors bunion) and DM is the only Kind I can wear. And after finding out how confusing the sizes are, I wanted to make it easier to understand, I use all DM products I buy now from DM. I don’t watch my phone but I click “just in” to find cheaper boots, some I and on, others I don’t, it evens out.

As for those purses, those where the only ones I had, can find some good deals on them and their website you get % off first time buyer. They are so amazing♥️♥️. The hardest part here is getting sellers to ship, I’m always sending messages to please ship, many I bought last week, just shipped today, which means if they sell , I won’t see $ for 2 weeks , that’s the only thing I wish could approve. Otherwise everyone is so nice here! 🥰🥰👍👍

cherryblast @soappups that’s so cool. There was another lady here I used to talk to who did it with Coach bags. She would buy them pretty cheap and clean them up and they’d look new. Sell them for way more then purchased and make a profit. I feel that’s amazing to do.

Some do it that way others send immediately. That is one thing you never know. I will try to get out tomorrow for you knowing you like things shipped fast!! I will check the purse website out. sabie6 Hi Dawn! I was just looking at the Dr Martens I bought on Posh and they don’t seem to have any of the markings they are supposed to have. Nothing in insole where the logo is supposed to be. Logo not on the outside. Also they have a white size thing under the tongue. Any idea? I also asked the white Dr lady if they were authentic. She said yes that she bought them at the store! Right. madelainemachel @soappups - YES! Those are nice❤️ I just can’t do the newer Docs, too stiff and I am too old to go through breaking in. All my old vintage Docs are very broke in. I have reconditioned a few pairs but they are truly getting worn out. Pretty good run since the 80s.

iheartpoodles Hello! I’m in desperate need of Doc Marten sizing advice! I’m trying to decide between the Jadon size women’s 7 and 8. I’m a size 7.5 in most all shoes except a size 8 in Nikes. Reviews say everything so I honestly don’t know what to buy. I own a size 7 in the 1460’s and I have to wear a thinner sock. My toes are at the end kind of. I own a size 8 in the Triumph boot and it’s honestly too big. Any advice is much appreciated! Also, what kind of dog is your little white dog? Thank you

soappups @iheartpoodles hahah! Luna is a Maltese. (I’m also a dog groomer😉) I LOVE POODLES! As for sizing, triumph does run large. If you can find Jadon “made in “LAO PDR” get those in size 7 (those run about a half size large for sure, higher quality leather and much better footbed for comfort) if you can’t find those, I’d suggest 8 since your 7’s are snug .

soappups @iheartpoodles I used to love the Leona more, until I got the vintage blue jadon. Now I almost live in those. I also love the Sinclair Arcadia (the older ones, not so shiny like the new ones are) I also have a chihuahua, she’s new since Luna needed a buddy after Mea was rehomed.

soappups @iheartpoodles yeah exactly! When you do purchase, if it’s a used pair,ask if its their personal pair, to see what size they normally wear. If they end up being too big, DM comfort insoles will fix that. I’m watching for the same ones (LaO PDR) in size UK4, on the tongue, the box showing womens size will be blank. (That means they are mens size, wider and a little longer) 😁

soappups @iheartpoodles always add 2 to UK size for womens and 1 for mens. (I’m normally a UK5/womens 7 but if made in Lao PDR I’m a UK4 , so for you, you want a UK5 which would be closer to womens 7.5 😁 made in LAO

soappups @iheartpoodles yes, pretty much. And TBH I’ve had many Jadon black and white I sold, any that were size UK5 I tried on and they were very uncomfortable. That’s why I will wait for an LAO pair to come up, in like new condition, a fair price would be about 130-150. They are 170 new on dm site with free shipping but no way to tell where they were made. (I found them in journeys LAO but didn’t have the funds at that time) don’t look if you can’t buy, you’ll be sure to find exactly what you want. 🤣🤣🤣

With approval from Poshmark I have 2 accounts, one is my reg account which I put pretty much everything on and this second one which you commented on the boots on is where I put all of the gothic, horror, Harley, heavy metal and other similar genres. and again with poshmark's approval they said that I can cross reference and promote items on both sites.

soappups @cutehosiery thanks, but I sorta moved to other places, it went dead for me here and doing what I did took a lot of my time and products, so I was really losing $ mostly, I miss it but if inflation gets under control, I might do it part time 🤞

soappups @epicposhstyles ohhh! I moved here about 2 years ago, rekindled an old flame & we are engaged now. ❤️ I really don’t know anyone in CG still. The few I’ve encountered weren’t pleasant experiences. If you wanted to get together for lunch and talk about posh, I’m definitely up for that. 😁
