The first mug has yellow and green vertical stripes and geometric flowers, this pattern and colouring is reminiscent of the design of the 1960s. The second mug is in a folk style with mustard yellow flowers on a burgundy background. Similar designs were popular in the 1970s. The mugs have the iconic Ikea slot/'drainage-gate' on the bottom. Ikea designed its coffee mugs this way so that water wouldn't collect on the bottom of the mug when washed in a dishwasher. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
