Hi there! Thank you for visiting my closet and taking the time to get to know a little about me! I'm a mama to one precious little 4 year old boy, Grayson, and a 4-legged Irish Wolf Hound dog (mini horse), Brogen. I was super active on Poshmark up until 2017 when I became pregnant. After a 5-year hiatus, I'm back and ready for business! Motherhood took precedence over everything else in my life over the last 5 years. I have a lot of inventory updating to do in my closet. I will be working diligently to delete old listings that are no longer available. In the meantime, before purchasing an item, it would be helpful if you ask first and make sure it's available.🙂 I appreciate your patience as I rejoin the Posh community! * All items come from a smoke-free home. dallasstyle I worked in fashion while going to grad school! It was the only thing that kept me sane, especially cause I did my internship in the largest hospital in Dallas working in the psych ER and the psych adult inpatient unit.. My greatest advice would be to make sure when you go to grad school that you are 100% ready cause when I started, I was super eager, but by the end I was so burnt out! It took me almost a year to get my license cause I didn't want to study anymore. Besides that... It was GREAT!😜

dallasstyle My ideal job would be one that I could combine social work and my love for fashion❤️. I remember being at my internship and counting down the minutes until I could leave and go to my other job! My social work education actually helped me a lot in what I do, cause I think and look at things differently than most. Like in most professions, it's tough to get into fashion, but if it's something you love, then you won't dread that feeling of going to work! Find what area of fashion you love, whether it be styling, merchandising, ect. Or if you aren't sure, think about getting a part time job at your favorite boutique, maybe a couple of hours a week, and learn what area you are most interested in, and start gaining experience in that area. It might also be a good escape from the crazy social work life! Let me know if you have any other questions! I'll give any advice I have😉

kellidavis05 @ladyluvclothes When tading, Poshmark doesn't support . By that I mean, if you post a picture of a Coach bag that is perfoect condition and I paid $250...if it shows up to be a complete fake, or terrible condition then I am stuck with it. Poshmark will not help me get my money back. Please don't take it personal! It is not that I don't trust you! It took me a while to learn the rules. I have only been a member since Oct last year. If you have any questions/help, PLEASE ask!!

I was wondering what a Suggested User is and how someone is deemed one? I see it all over people's names. Is this poshmark designated? I was thinking of writing a Posh Dictionary! Lol! I had a sorority sister at Auburn, that was from St. Simon's Island in college about 20 years ago. It is a beautiful place! Are you still there? Thanks, CeCe

kellidavis05 The Posh Glossary: Common Abbreviations and Phrases. http://blog.poshmark.com/2014/06/19/posh-tip-how-to-describe-the-condition-of-your-item/ @the_wardrobe CeCe, the link above should direct you to a Posh Dictionary=) I have to refer to it often! Another tip: Be sure to put either a brand name into the brand part of the listing or put 'Boutique' or 'Vintage' rather than leaving it blank Leaving the brand blank, puts the listing into a generic pool --that isn't as easily accessible via the search tools-- AND when your closet is on the 'wheel rotation', the computer bypasses all of the information from your listings that do not have brand listings--no credit for having those listings.

kellidavis05 @the_wardrobe That is terrible about the shooting! People are absolutely NUTS! A suggested user "SU" is PM designated. In the search bar, type in suggested user and you will find images posted from poshers that are suggested users. It will show you more detailed info...I was trying to find one to copy and paste. If you are on facebook, you should look up the group "PFFs Meet Greet and Empower" I get a LOT of useful tips!!! As for St Simons...I am still there. I've been there for 3 years. I am trying to move!! It is a wonderful place if you 1)want to retire 2) LOVE golf 3)super rich 4)raising a family. Unfortunately I don't fall under any of the above=) The beach is the only thing keeping me around!

So far, I've only sold 2 items. A friend let me know about this site. I just switched from an iphone to an android, unfortunately, while other sites take a smaller %, they are not droid friendly. I saw a Today Show segment with another site when Hoda cleaned out her closet. Did you happen to see it? She made over $5K for charity. Crazy Huh?!?! My stuff isn't moving. But I am and I don't want to take this stuff with me! How do you get a BLOG? Do you have one? I neef to get a twitter account and also instagram! What other tools/sites do you use to increase your sales & visibility? I've tried sharing groups, but they all seem to happen at times that conflict with my schedule or have at least 50 or more people! In which case sharing 15 items per person in 2 hours time span is just difficult from my phone. I've got to jump my numbers. Suggestions? Feedback? I wish there was an option for PRIVATE messaging. I will check for you, though. It's super scary. You want to believe that you are safe on a college campus anywhere, unfortunately this world seems to be getting sicker and sicker, and professionals like you are in demand. Especially in my area. I know that things are getting better with time, but Katrina was a devastating blow to my hometown.

kellidavis05 @the_wardrobe I tried using other apps, but I personally have more faith in Poshmark after reading so many success stories from other Poshers that have made thousands in a month! Someone recently shared with me that the small fee we pay on Posh for shipping would cost an average of $15 at the Post Office! One of the top sellers was able to quit her job to stay at home with her newborn!! She recommended "treasure hunting"...make friends with your local consignment shops for great deals and also keep up with the latest fashion trends. It is a great idea, but my house already looks like it should be featured on the show "Hoarders"! It looks like my closet threw up everywhere!! I don't really participate in the blogging. There is a Blog section on Poshmark where you can see who is hosting upcoming parties and get insight on their style and what they are looking for in their host picks. In the beginning, I tried to manage advertising on Pinterest, and Instagram but it was just too much to keep up with. I do follow Poshmark on Pinterest and Instagram for style/fashion tips. I also have an android, and it is a pain in the butt when it comes to sharing and navigating through the app. I use my laptop for parties and catching up on shares and replying to comments. It is so much faster!! I only use my phone for taking photos using the free app "Fotor"....my favorite and only one that I use! Some other useful tips that I have found effective (that I would've NEVER thought of) are: During the first 2 parties of the day that host picks are chosen, share your theme related items towards the end of the party. This places your items at the top of the list in the showroom. Prepare your closet for the 3rd/ last party of the day with your theme related items/ potential host picks at the top. Then, reach out to the Co Hosts, congratulate them and ask if they would mind browsing your closet for a Host Pick. Another great tip, most people get paid on Fridays...This is a perfect day to find the items with the most "likes" and drop the price by 10% so they will be notified about discounted shipping for one hour. If the item doesn't sell, mark it back at the original price. LAST, rotate your closet everyday! Most people only go through the first 15-20 items in your closet. Those will be the only items that get shared most often. Ladies have recommended sharing from the bottom of your closet. WHEW!!! That was a lot to wrap your head around!! You can find me on Facebook! I was reading your comment from last night, I too, have gained weight recently! I broke my jaw over a year ago and had it wired shut for 4 months! Not the diet I recommend!! I lost a ton of weight and now that I am gaining it back I feel like such a slob! I don't want to spend a ton of money (that I don't have) on clothes bc I am hoping to lose weight before summer! My favorite closets are listed in another post that I will tag you in! I've been mainly buying tunics that I can wear with leggings while it is cold and also wear them in the spring and summer for swimsuit cover-ups or dress (if long enough).

I actually have on my own company and I've actually have my own marketing company for years and years that I do a lot of creative stuff and now my company is an IT company and we do creative with that as well. terristephan I think that ideally would be of course when Karen is down there and I think she said she would be down here January through April. Jacksonville came up as a possibility. My thought is the timing would be like in February or early March, Jacksonville tends to be a bit chillier there especially the water. The gulf coast/Clearwater area is warmer that time of year. Karen thought a beach would draw more people. I also thought of Orlando was a consideration it's centrally located.

Like Downtown Disney or City Walk (at Universal) which are all both about the night life. Plus we have the most AMAZING designer outlet shopping! LOL! flutter_buys Hi! I just looked up citywalk in Orlando. I don't think it's all that. A lot of bars and nightclubs. My husband was there once before. What time are you planning for? I saw other meet ups from 4-8 pm. I mean we could do what ever time we wanted tho! I say go near the beaches, but that's just me. What about Tampa? Just throwing out stuff. 😜they have the beach,zoo,Busch gardens. Not as crowded as Orlando too.

terristephan @kellidavis05 @kcford24 In terms of where to stay, there are a lot of hotels on the beach, but that time of year may cost a bit more. But, if we work with them and they do our sunset cocktails and hors devours they may give us a good enough rate that we could even double up. There is one hotel called The Sandpearl Hotel that they do events outside beachfront. I'm not sure what price point our event should be around but would be happy to investigate more. any idea of numbers?

terristephan So the first time I can recall them taking blood out of my arm I was like 11. It took 4, yes, you read that right, 4 people...3 nurses and my mom, to hold me down so they could poke me. I was screaming so loud I think the whole hospital heard me and thought they were killing me!LOL😂

terristephan There really is a point I get over the needle thing!😜. So I was like 16 or so and ended up in the hospital. If course there was an IV requirement. It took them 5 times in the most tender spots (which you can't move) to get it in. At that point I realized my tolerance to pain is much greater than I thought. Now I take my regular pokes like my vitamin. Haha😂😂😂I'm sure you wanted my medical blood drWing history on this early bright and shinny Monday am!😜

There is a large increase from end of Feb to March in hotel prices on the beach. I have the total ADHD issue too so I get what you go through and completely understand. terristephan From my research, I think Feb 27 would be a great Sat, the 25-28 if they would like to make a weekend. Weather should be fairly good. usually only rains 2-5 days the whole month and by the end of the month the days will be in the mid-70's and the evenings 40s-50s

Mental health is sadly overlooked in America as a necessity to the well being of individuals, families, & society as a whole. 1roguepuppy Thanks so much! We are all survivors & strong, healthy, in treatment, & doing well. We had a decade or so that was a story no one would believe. But now I feel like my life is a fairytale in comparison. Karma has come around after all:) But I am so incredibly grateful for the help of mental health professionals when we needed them (and we still do). It's a hard job that's underpaid, overworked, emotionally draining, & doesn't get the prestige it deserves. So thankful for people like you!

1roguepuppy On a positive note, I went to an incredible treatment center earlier this year for co-occuring disorders to get some real solutions for my PTSD & depression with fabulous success. Since then I've lost 35 lbs, and now I have tons of clothes to sell on Poshmark! And an excuse to buy new ones! Yay happy endings!

Working in mental health is def overworked and underpaid...I knew throughout all 4 years of college that Social Work would never make me a millionaire, but the reward at the end of day is priceless:) I struggle too w/ depression. There are many days when I just want to pull the covers over my head and hide from the world. Being able to relate to patients has made me so much more passionate:)

1roguepuppy I wanted to thank you again for being my first Posh PFF and mentor. You helped me feel like there are real people on here after a few initial bad experiences with some Posh bullies and meanies. I've had a blast on here since joining in early November, especially since finding a good group of PFF's, and you helped get that started. kellidavis05 @city_sells Haha! Little pups and their Napoleon Syndrome! I've only seen Bella back down once when I took her to the vet a Great Dane walked in...she prob thought it was a pony! Either way, sizewise it was out of her league:) Pits are such great pups and I hate that they have such a negative rep. It is all about how they are raised and loved...like humans. <3
