Two previously read softback novels by Black Library (Games Workshop). They are part of the Imperial Guard series released 17 years ago, detailing the lives of standard human soldiers in an insane galaxy. The first title, Desert Raiders, tells the story of a Tallarn Regiment as they fight on a desert world against the vile Tyranids, while the second title, Rebel WInter, follows the Vostroyan as they fight on a snow-covered planet against the brutal orkz.
