Indigenous Handmade Buffalo Bone Hairpipe necklace

Beautifully Handmade by the 'Cree Sisters'. We are from a First Nations Tribe in Northern Ontario, Canada. We come from a very long line of artists (mostly male which is surprising!). Any 'natural' ingredients e.g. birch bark shown were traditionally and/or sustainably harvested. Pipestone (Catlinite) is the sacred red clay stone that American Indians use for making prayer and ceremonial pipes. It is found in only a few places in the world. Modern crystal practitioners have stated that catlinite is a stone of interconnectedness between body and spirit.
