stardustsparkle Thank you for posting this! I had one seller get so mad at me when I pointed out her Betsey stuff was fake. She blocked me before I had a chance to explain why it's a fake and that I wasn't accusing her of knowingly selling fakes. Some people are just really sensitive I guess 🤷‍♀️

dalemacaz @karenlopez808 if she got so mad she probably already knew that she was selling fakes and didn’t like others knowing. On another big selling site there is someone selling replicas for 2-3 dollars and calling them “fashion” Betsey Johnson. I think some people believe that they’re getting a good deal and have no idea these are fake and cheap!

pretygirlygirl @dalemacaz I did see that she has all fake but I remember Betsey coming out with a line of gem/rhinestone collection like this which was sorta plain for Betsey style. She probably came across that necklace randomly, was given it as a gift or she purchased it. I’ve seen a couple fake sellers have a few authentic pieces.

dalemacaz @sarah_not_sara I was communicating with another seller about her BJ jewelry and I saw that you had messaged her about her listings being reported. Most of her listings are replica and she told me that her buyers know that what they’re buying is replica even though the listing doesn’t say that. I think you were letting her know that her listings were reported and that you disagreed that they were replicas. I tagged you so that you know what to look for with BJ replica jewelry.

sarah_not_sara @dalemacaz gotcha. I think that was a while back. I remember it now that you mentioned it. I believe I made that statement to her to see if she was willing to admit she was selling replicas bc I have known for sometime that the leopard print tags usually indicate an unauthentic item. After she said that ppl knew they were buying replicas ( I doubt that) I suggested she put that in her listing and that was the end of our convo

sarah_not_sara @dalemacaz I know what ya mean. I have politely told some sellers they were most likely (definitely, really) selling replicas along w reasoning as to why I was able to spot it. I even caught one lady lying about an item when she told me the opposite of something I’d seen her tell another posher. She of course blocked me & then made up some poor excuse just so I couldn’t say anymore. It’s sad really. She’s been called out many times. Can’t believe she’s still selling.

carlenesanchez oh, i could tell on about 6 or 7 others who sell dishonestly on this app & im sure theres lots more..such a shame!! Someone blocked me one time too. 😂🤣😅 she sold me defective items TWO TIMES!! (shame on me for trusting her) So i posted it on her page.She said a few choice words to me & blocked me. what goes around comes around. She'll get hers😁

dalemacaz @kiklis I had to answer you on here because I was blocked on that account for telling the truth. Red flags: brand new account, only 1 expensive item, hasn’t answered any questions. There are tons of scammers on here unfortunately and that looks to be one of them. They get busted, lose their account and turn around and open a new one.

myhin Hi as you can tell I’m just letting her have her rant. The bag was delivered to her address, and after she didn’t except it after 3 days that is when Poshmark refunded my money. I have contacted Poshmark and reported her for harassing me. And if she knew as much as she says she does about Poshmark she should know how this process works. Poshmark gives me 2 days to get it mailed and then they start tracking it once the PO scans it in. So I’m just letting Poshmark handle her.

ilovepunkie @dalemacaz Hi! Wanted to tysm for the “scammer alert” on an item I appeared to purchase... My acct had recently been hacked & I was locked out for 5 days. The hacker tried multiple times (19!) to order fraudulently. It was a mess and Poshmark hasn’t exactly been very helpful. Don’t even know if my acct is secure at this point. I am doing what I can on my end to protect my financial & social accts. Please, if anyone else has had a similar experience and has any tips or suggestions... tyia💗

dalemacaz @crystallatshaw I’ve seen her listings before and I think they are fake. The tags aren’t attached, they’re just sitting by the item. People can’t buy Betsey Johnson jewelry “wholesale”. There should be a barcode on the back of the tag for authenticity purposes. Jewelry like this can be bought on AliExpress and e bay for a couple to dollars. The seller adds a tag to make it look authentic. I think I’ve messaged her before and got the run around.

setleb I emailed posh this morning after noticing a pattern emerging while reporting these accounts. Other than the obvious same products all $5. But there’s a bunch of new accounts involved. And the strange part was they all follow 141 closets which when looked at they damn near follow the same 141 closets or possibly do. And 75%-90 of those are posh ambassador’s.

noahbrazel @dalemacaz hi, the seller of the fake Moncler jacket blocked me so I couldn’t reply to you but look at the threading on everything… it’s all crooked or coming apart. A real jacket that is $1,000 plus has great quality materials. The color of the tags look really faded and off too. I have quite a few Moncler pieces and I’ve actually sold a few on my account/have some listed and when you’re familiar with the brand you can almost tell immediately something is off, then you look closer and realize.

msfun_unique Thanks for the heads up on the scammers. I think I have it down to whose legit or not. It’s the same high end(fake) merchandise with a posher that has no reviews, etc. Then the same account pops up under a different name. I try to educate potential buyers even if they don’t purchase from me. It’s terrible, these accounts are everywhere now. They price under $500 so there is no authentication. Thanks for the heads up!
