morgan415 @smyths_closet quite a few things..the label on the inside has too big of font, the bow is also different that the real ones, and the dust bags should have a label sewn onto them instead of the wording printed onto the bag. Honestly just lots of looking at the real thing and you start to notice subtle differences!

pmdmichelle You made mine! I've been going through hormonal chemotherapy and have been so stressed with all my courses this semester since I know I need A's to get into my dream doctorate program. I've thought about calling it quits for the remainder of the semester and retaking it later, but seeing your closet on here and life on Instagram helped remind me of the life I want to have and the work I need to do to get there. It definitely encourages me to keep working!

There were plenty of times where I wanted to give up on my engineering degree because it was a ton of work, but hard work pays off :) my fiancé and I are both engineers and we were lucky to have each other to help get through school. Don't give up and you'll be so glad you stuck with it!

morgan415 @liiliihana I'm not super familiar with the peep toe ones so I don't know how they run. They may be slightly big on you but the lads should help. I'm a 7.5/8 and I find that 38.5 in most styles is too big for me especially after they stretch out. But again, each style runs differently! If they are too big I'm sure you could resell them for more than you paid though! Great deal!

I had someone comment on my Louboutins listing yesterday trying to say they weren't authentic because she was selling fake rockstuds. She then called me names and such but all it does is make that person look worse. But I reported the Manolo gal for harassment so let me know how it works out! Hopefully she is taken off of posh.

Sadly I've had many salespeople incorrectly authenticate shoes, so I would suggest not taking items to department stores. The purse forum and Lollipuff are always good resources if you need places to authenticate! Can you return them?

It's $25 to authenticate but well worth it since they will be able to provide the proof you need. I would email tradesy first to see what they say and then go to Lollipuff if you need to!

Those are hard to tell and I had to google some and found some real ones on eBay and deadest to compare to but the bottom stamp is way too thick and close together. I thought maybe the style was printed poorly but when I looked at the real ones I saw it wasn't.

I had kindly let her know she has a fake a while back and she immediately came to my listings and Instagram to comment nasty things. There have been a lot of other poshers who recently called her out (even making scam alert listings which I don't agree with) and she thinks it's me.

I can't believe she's resorted to posting comments on random listings. Who does that?! Making any listing "calling out" or attacking another Posher is against Posh rules so there should be plenty of cause for them to suspend her account.

morgan415 @fionax1 So i found the ones you're talking about and they look to be fake :( I say that because i believe the inside and bottoms should say "made in spain" and it look like the insides of those say "made in italy" instead which is a sign of a replicas :( also when looking at other authentic ones the serial number i think should be on the tongue area (at the top of the foot) instead of on the side

If the shoes get returned to you I would email Poshmark right away because they will still give a refund even if the purchase was a while back! They have gotten authentication wrong lots of times, so just be aware it may happen. If they approve a return, I suggest video taping the box being opened when you get it so you have proof if anything comes damaged! And then I would get lollipuff to verify authenticity

Sadly when they shut closets down for fakes they don't go and give everyone refunds which sucks bc it needs to happen!

morgan415 @dg5 yes. It means they were selling too many fakes (if it's just one report they usually claim a mistake and don't shut a closet down), or going off-Poshmark for transactions too much. Seemed like she was doing both so I'm sure that helped her get kicked off.

mvoelzke123 Hi!! Just saw your tag about thebonmarche-- oh my gosh!! One of the dresses I got from her was GREAT, but two others were just bizarre-- their sizing is WAY weird and the quality of the material feels funky, as well. I must have gotten fakes, too! I had NO idea she was scamming people like that, I am livid! It looks like her closet is down, at least. Did Posh refund you for the fake?? I wonder if I should contact them, too!!

morgan415 @fionax1 hey! So yes I think I managed to snag mine before the recent increase. When I went, with all the taxes back and the exchange rate, I paid about $4300 US. The US price at that time was $4900 plus tax, so I saved about 1k. I believe the current US price for the M is $5300 + tax 😭 but I’m so glad I got it. It’s my baby!!

I had actually planned to just get a WOC but I sold way more than I thought I would and had enough to pay for the M size! I loved the jumbo too but it was a bit big for me since I wanted something that could be an evening bag too. I know you'll love the bag!!!

morgan415 @fionax1 I also ended up going for the caviar leather vs the lambskin since it scratched so much easier. I think that's what has helped me wear it more too. I'm not afraid to scratch it so I use it more than I would have with the smooth leather! Are you going to Paris for the bag??

fionax1 @morgan415 that’s amazing. Your closet is stunning. So I’m not surprised you sold enough to get the medium flap. I actually bought a preloved boy wallet on chain that I’ve gotten tons of use out of and I got a great price on it. But I was just so scared of getting a fake but after tons of research I’ve gotten better at authenticating. After I got the WOC I had it authenticated on lollipuff just in case.

morgan415 @fionax1 Personally it’s hard for me to wear tiny bags (my YSL is tiny and I love it but it’s definitely the smallest I can go). I’m really trying to focus on having a smaller wardrobe and not buy too much now. So maybe someday I’ll get one! But I want to be sure what I buy will be a staple for a very long time. I got too many bags recently and I love all of them but can’t see the need for more right now. I’m sure that will change though 😂

I received the scarf and it was definitely fake. I returned it and also reported the seller to Posh, and it appears they have taken down all their listings.
