Italian Gold and Cameo Set

This Hand carved and hand made 14k gold and cameo set of pendant/brooch, earrings and ring are a stunning example of jewelry made for centuries in Europe, particularly in Italy. Hand carved cameos such as these are made from the Cornelian shell which has small dimensions and comes from Africa. It is characterized by a background color tending towards red/orange while the color on the surface is more beige. You will notice in the settings of these pieces the hand rolled gold wire used to create a filigree design. The Brooch/Pendant is 30mm wide and 40mm top to bottom, the earrings are 10mm wide and 14mm top to bottom, the ring face is 15mm wide and 20mm top to bottom. The ring is size 5.5. New condition, rarely worn
