Italian sandals with low platforms in shades of metallic blue vintage

From Venice (1984)! Pretty combination of shades of blue. Metallic effect. They attach by crossing the back straps over the ankle at the back. The buckle is on the external side of the foot. They are not completely flat: they have low « compensated » platform but they feel like they are flat. The platform is in real wood. It does not say anywhere what material the top is. All I can say it that it is high quality because it aged very well and I do not see any areas where the straps are open, unglued etc. The price paid (over $Ca 200 Equivalent to the then Italian lira) was probably justified by the quality. Worn them a couple of times in Venice (lots of cobbled streets there) so I see that four areas where rubbed on the heel of one sandal (see relevant picture) and one area was rubbed at the front of the other sandal (see relevant picture). Price takes into account the flaws.
