Italy Micro Mosaic Tie Tack

This Micro Mosaic tie tack in blue and and white is stamped on the back "Italy". I see no other stamps or makers mark. It was found with other vintage pieces of jewelry so I am guessing its from the MCM era. The design of the mosaic reminds me of a cluster of grapes... Italy being a wine producing country that could be correct! It has a trim of twisted "rope" around the mosaic. I believe the metal may be gold filled, though there are no markings indicating it as such. The simple floral design make it ideal to be worn with a navy suit...or ???
