Ivory Coast African Statue of a Woman

A vintage wooden statue from the Ivory Coast of a woman. She is wearing a feathered headdress; her eyes are closed and she has a benevolent expression. I was told at the estate sale where I purchased it that it was made just after the 1930s before the age of mass tourism and mass made tourist objects. It is made of a very heavy wood weighing 1013 grams (almost 36 ounces) and stands 12 3/4" tall while the base is 2 3/4" by 2 1/2".
