Ixos burgundy leather cut-out open-toe pumps, EU40, NWT

Ixos has been making beautiful shoes in the heart of the Italian shoemaking district since 1960. I love the distinct character of their designs. Everything is hand-made, of course, with supple vegetable dyed leather & traditional craftsmanship. I would say that Ixos fits into the category of affordable luxury. These gorgeous burgundy leather pumps feature an open toe and an asymmetrical cutout design that is flattering on the foot as well as attention grabbing. The shoes have a subtle 3/8" hidden platform, offset by a rounded block heel of 4 3/8. The heels are stacked leather, finished in black - there's a spot on the inside of the left heel where the finish is slightly flawed, which could easily be filled in with black shoe polish. It's not particularly noticeable, and I've never worn this pair, so I've left it as is. Footbed length is 10.25" Heels are 4.325", platform 0.325", for an effective heel height of 4". They fit my size 9.5 feet perfectly lengthwise, but they're a bit tight across the arch - I have freakishly high arches, though, so if your feet are a typical size 9.5, they should work. The leather is buttery soft and would have likely adjusted even to my high arches, but I don't really wear heels anymore, so letting this pair go as they really deserve to be flaunted.
