This coat was made in England during 1959-1961 by the prestigious France "Jean Patou Couture House" Even talented way back then Lagerfeld's recognition for his coat sketching talents brought him many awards and recognition. He designed between 1957 to 1963 at Jean Patou. This coat is a new age contemporary, modern mix with old world charm. A designer vintage piece that has withstood time. A reglan sleeve and a 100% heavy wool with alternating large leather inserted panels. Gold metal and leather buttons down the front with extra button at the interior. Black light fabric lining that's not listed. Coat has semi-couture touches. Impeccable time capsule of a garment.
