Reposhing this item I purchased from @claraahart. Selling to size up. I removed the elastic and buttons seen in the photos above. Please note there are still 2 small slits in the fabric of the inside of the waistband where the elastic and buttons used to be. They don't affect the integrity or the awesomeness of these pants at all. I have added a photo of what it looks like now. If you wanted to take in the waist it would be easy to add buttons and run an elastic again. There is a small faded area on the button band, not really super noticeable when wearing but price reflects this along with other adjustments. Also not noted in the above listing is that these were hemmed, please see photo (done very professionally) waist: 14.75" (with tape pressed flat) hip: 19" inseam: 25" Questions? juliadorfman Can you pls show a picture of the pant hem? I want to make sure there is no visible line because I will let out the hem. Thanks!

kimberlyfyke @juliadorfman Hi! I've updated some photos of the hem and current inseam length. In the last photo my thumbnail is marking where I can feel the fabric inside the hem, so you should be able to let these down the full width of the current hem which is about 2 inches

kimberlyfyke most of the stitching is very tidy and professional, but I included the 'messiest' bits of sewing for full disclosure

juliadorfman @kimberlyfyke thanks! I think there will be a line when the hem is taken down. Probably best for someone with your measurements!

kimberlyfyke @erinfpeacock there is no alteration needed to make them a size 8. the previous owner ran elastic through the back of the waist to cinch them closer to a size 4 held with removable buttons. I took out the elastic but left the buttons which could be easily removed. I am an 8 but they are very tight on me My measurements are 30" waist, 40" hips and the measurements listed above is the biggest the pants will fit. I think they would best suit someone with smaller measurements than mine.

erinfpeacock @kimberlyfyke okay I have similar measurements and if they are tight on you then they will be too small. dang

kimberlyfyke @erinfpeacock I keep debating about keeping these because I can do them up, but they just feel too restrictive after wearing for a bit. I was able to find a pair in size 10, and they aren't tons bigger, but feel much more comfortable on, if that helps if you have similar measurements.

kimberlyfyke @erinfpeacock thanks so much for your interest. I've decided to hold on to them a bit longer and see if I wear them or if they relax a bit. If I decide to list them again, I will tag you!
