100% FINE COTTON CANVAS IN BLACK. MADE IN CALIFORNIA. REGARDING FIT: THESE PANTS RUN SLIM IN THE HIPS. IF YOU HAVE A LARGER CABOOSE, AND ARE BETWEEN SIZES, WE SUGGEST GOING UP IN SIZE. A TAILOR CAN EASILY TAKE IN THE WAIST. YOU WANT THE TUSH TO FIT... NOT TOO TIGHT, BUT JUST RIGHT. These sailor pants have been altered with an elastic running through the inside of the waist band and being secured with 2 buttons. This alteration can be removed very easily, otherwise in perfect condition! Selling them since I own the handy pants in black too and so don’t reach for them much now

kimberlyfyke hi! could you confirm the waist measurement (at size 8) flat, as well as low hip and across the thigh? interested in trying these but nervous about sizing. From what I've read the rise should be about 13"?

dagnysday @kimberlyfyke I’m tempted to buy these, but have too many similar black pants. For a sizing reference, I have a size 8 in a different colour and they fit me great - usually I wear a size 28 jean, and have a 27 waist and 39 hip. Fitted but not too tight. Hope this helps :)

claraahart @kimberlyfyke thanks for purchasing! So glad they found a new home, they do have the elastic running through the inside of the waist that can easily be removed, I added it myself to fit me a size 4 (25/26). Thanks again and I will be sure to ship them as soon as I get back tonight :)
