This is a lovely cream-colored hand thrown pitcher by Jack Westlin (1928-2003), who's art pottery studio was in Tacoma Washington. It was decorated with bands of pastel browns, purple and orange with a hand decorated design of delicate florals. It is signed by the artist in ink on the bottom. It is a fine example of the studio pottery coming out of the Pacific Northwest.
It is approximately 8 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches across the widest point not including the handle. It is in very good condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. Please see all the photos.
