Jamaican Carved Statue

A hand carved wooden statue, most likely from Jamaica, of a woman carrying a basket on top of her head. The statue is heavy for its size, (about 3 1/2 pounds). The base has felt lining to avoid scratching tabletops. The statue is 21" tall and its base is 8 1/4" wide by just under 3" deep.
