Janine Parent Signed Horse Hair Crin de Cheval Ceramic Raku Pottery Candle Holder Janine Parent completed her diploma in Fine Crafts with a specialization in ceramic at the Cegep Limoilou in 2000. She also participated in several workshops in Quebec and France to perfect various firing and basketry techniques. A peaceful sense of harmony emerges from the simplicity, clean lines and refined shapes that characterize her ceramics. To obtain a soft and silky surface, each piece is patiently polished before undergoing the raku firing. It produces a spontaneous and random line effect making each piece unique.
