Jeffrey Campbell EQPT wedge 'sneakers' dating back to the early 2010s. There was a resurgence of indie sleaze, and wedge sneakers were everywhere. They were generally clunky and kind of ugly. The really trendy ones featured bulky velcro straps. Despite all the hype about Isabel Marant's 'iconic' take on wedge sneakers, they were so heavily copied that they all looked the same after a while. Boring! Enter EQPT - Jeffrey Campbell's answer to the ugly wedge sneaker. EQPT is sleek and sporty, but it's not exactly a sneaker, despite the techno fabric. It does still fit in with that sneaker aesthetic - unless you subscribe to the Wrong Shoe theory, which posits that pairing a completely unexpected shoe with any given style makes you an 'influencer'. If that's how you create your daily fit, then have I got the wrong shoe for you! 😂 EQPT is the perfect incongruous shoe to pair with a fancy cocktail dress if you want to stand out. Or pair with wide-leg yoga pants and a hoodie for a street presence that screams, 'style maven who gives zero f*cks, copy my fits or just be uncool, whatevs.' Obviously, wear them however you like. 😎 Eye-catching with bold red & black colourblocking, they feature JC's famously comfortable handmade Ibiza last. Heels are 4", but with the 1" hidden platform, these are comfortable all day. Women's size 9.5 - 10. Worn once, slight discoloration on soles & sticker stains at insoles (goop removed w alcohol). Uppers are flawless.
