Jewelry Box -Silverplated

A silver plated jewelry box, felt lined and emblazoned with the Royal coat of arms of the UK; the motto "Dieu et Mon Droit (God and my right)" is just below the arms. These boxes were popular in Britain from the 1930s through the 50s. There is little wear though there is some tarnish and the felt lined interior looks clean. The box is 6 1/8" at its widest, 5 1/4" deep and 3" tall.
