This magnificent vintage Joan River's egg is known as the "2000 Millennium Egg". This beautiful egg with a deep translucent Royal Blue and is cast with metal and its layered plating is 18K gold. This egg has been handset with several dozen gem cut Austrian diamond crystals. This egg opens by gently pulling the egg apart, inside is a world globe in matching Royale Blue Enameling, with gold continents, and which swivels on a golden arched frame. The golden North American continental cities are inset with 6 diamond crystals. It comes in the original box navy blue with gold symbol "JR"
