Jacket measure 27.5 pit to pit. 52 is generally pretty much the same in EU and US as far as I know. I would say it's Large to X-Large. IT fits me a bit snug and I usually take a 54 or X-Large. Hope that helps.

actually the longer I look at it the more I think it's right between the two. I will try and take a couple of photos with daylight shining on it and post them.

@lutzerj so I've added another picture and after closer inspection it does read closer to the modeled photo. the photos that I took are bleaching it a bit more. the newest photo shot against white gives you a much better read of color.
