Johnson Bros. Ironstone "Oberon" 6 1/2" bowls. 4 Vintage MCM floral bowls

Here is a set of mid century Johnson Bros Ironstone cereal bowls produced in England but probably decorated in Canada in the 1950s. They are in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. NOTE: Currently 8 available and I am selling as 2 sets of 4. "The ironstone bowls themselves were made in England by Johnson Bros. in the last mid-century under the "Snow White Regency" brand. The simply gorgeous pattern however, called "Oberon", was applied in Canada by a company called Sovereign Potters. Against the clean background, the contemporary floral pattern features tones of persimmon, chartreuse and olive green. History Note: Based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Sovereign Potters was bought by Johson Bros. in 1947 and operated until the late 1950s. Presumably these plates were manufactured and decorated during this time period."
