Johnson Brothers Stoke-On-Trent Old Granite Hearts & Flowers Salt Pepper Shakers

Made in the 1970s in England by Johnson Bros, they are part of their "Hearts and Flowers" pattern. The design features a folk art style with a central image of a Dutch couple holding hands, surrounded by hearts and flowers. They both have a plastic plug. The pattern is inspired by traditional blue delftware, using a blue transferware design with accents of red and yellow on a beige or off-white base. They will add vintage charm to any dining table. The shakers stand approximately 3.75" in height and 2" in width at the base. They are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
