Joie cognac leather Escapade caged platform sandals, 9, new in box

This pair of Joie caged platform sandals in cognac leather is perched atop a dark brown stained wooden platform and features a back zip for easy entry. Purchased around 2011, this pair has never been worn, largely because I found the heel rather intimidating. The heel measures 5.25" and is offset by a 1" platform, so it's not actually that intimidating if you're used to 4.25" heels, and these shoes feel very stable and comfortable on the foot, although I've barely worn them long enough to walk the length of my living room. Marked size 9, they fit my size 9.5 feet perfectly - I'd be worried about stability if it didn't have a snug fit, but when they're zipped up in the back, they feel like you're wearing an ankle boot. This pair should work for most size 9 to 9.5 feet.
