Joymoor Fashions Styled by Mollé Vintage 1960s Wool Coat

Joymoor Fashions styled by Mollé vintage 1960s purple wool (Forstmann) coat with cross mink fur trim. The coat has eight domed purple buttons and each is set with four purple Swarovski crystals. The buttons fasten with loop buttonholes. Coat is fully lined in a purple shiny fabric. One open slip pockets to each side. Forstmann Fabrics - was a maker of woollen yarns and fabrics, but they did not actually produce finish clothing. The company was formed in 1904 by the Forstmann family, German immigrants with a long history of fabric making, Forstmann prouducts were very highly quality and their label was proudly displayed alongside that of the garment maker’s. In 1957 the company was purchased by textile giant J.P. Stevens. The company was acquired by a Quebec base company Victor Woolens, in 1999 today. Today the company is known as Victor Forstmann. This is a gorgeous coat and a rare find!!!
