Québec was a hotbed of modernist enamel jewelry design in the 1970s. Like his contemporaries de Passillé-Sylvestre, Jules Perrier was an enamelist who created colourful bold abstract designs. Vintage 1970s enamel over copper pendant by Québec artist Jules Perrier. This handmade modernist pendant features an abstract cross design in cobalt blue and navy blue with gold accents. The pendant reverse is signed “Jules Perrier Québec” Good vintage condition: the front enamel is bright and shiny, and the back shows some light wear primarily on the signature.
