They produced modern and Art Nouveau & Art Deco designs. (Art Nouveau incorporated nature motifs into different metals. Art Deco is more geometric). Its sleek silver finish adds a touch of sophistication to any room. The frame holds a 5 x 7 photo. The measurement 13 x 18 is cm. You can see a previous owner modified the back of the frame slightly. I think it was to add extra support for sitting on a desk or other flat surface. Please note the glass is slightly frosted - giving portraits a slightly out of focus look. (I have seen this type of glass with older picture frames. I think this style glass became less available in the 1970s.) It's thin and delicate. In overall good pre-owned vintage condition.
