The front is printed with a full-color illustration of Sesame Street character Oscar the Grouch in his signature trash can next to Slimey the worm. Both characters have the letter X in place of pupils. KAWS x Uniqlo x Sesame Street branding is printed on the inner collar. American artist Brian Donnelly, known by his alias KAWS, has built an artistic reputation since the 1990s for his illustrated characters reminiscent of famed cartoon characters. Educational TV show Sesame Street is known for its beloved puppets, including Oscar the Grouch. On behalf of Japanese retailer Uniqlo, KAWS put his iconic touch on illustrations of the Sesame Street cast of characters.
