Kaptiva US W8.5 mountain trail runners

Premium “low volume” trail runners designed for stability and comfort on tough terrain. Sticky rugged soles, excellent cushioning and ventilation. Feels like they hold your feet steady in bubble wrap around the arch - the “low volume”. contrast, the toe box is roomy and well ventilated. Recommend looking up some technical expert reviews yourself (e.g., Outdoor Gear Lab). EUC and gorgeous shoes for the job they’re built for, but over-engineered for my needs. I wear size 8.5 80% of the time (e.g., Brooks, ASICS, New Balance, Mizuno) and say they are true to size but I wouldn’t want them any longer - little foot slip means there’s less need for extra space at the toes to prevent downhill toe jamming.
