I think this is the perfect size bag for everyday . It has an outside zip. But what I love most about this purse is that the super long front flap lifts up to reveal pockets for easy access to cards, pens, phone etc plus an extra zipper pocket. The strap is long and can easily be adjusted to the size you want. Interior does show some signs of wear but not too much except zipper pulls have come off but still useable. Hardware has some marks. 11” wide 9” high 3” deep
