Kimono Pearls

This is a very long strand of beautiful Kimono pearls. Kimono pearls, also known as Akoya pearls, are made from the Pinctada fucata martensii pearl oyster. The pearls are cultivated in the open ocean for three to five years, and harvested by hand when they reach the desired size. This strand is 58 inches in length from end to end. You can double them or even triple them. Very gently worn and are in perfect condition except a tiny embellishment in the clasp fell out. See photo.
