Vintage Boy Girl Sitting Bookends Japan Colorful. Cute, colourful, kitschy kids / children bookends! Boy appears to be holding an umbrella; girl may be knitting? Each piece measures just under 3” across bottom and approximately 3.5” to top of hats. No chips or cracks. His hat is unusual, appears to have a bite out of front - this is factory designed. Some paint loss, see black trim, consistent with age. (likely early 1950’s) Both pieces marked Japan, impressed and in red ink.
