Knife & Fork Set by Frederick Asman

A 12 piece silver plated cutlery set of knives and forks in their original wooden box. They were made between 1905 and 1940 by Frederick Asman and Co. in England. The pieces have resin (I believe bakelite) handles; the knives are curved and have a leafy type of decoration going from the base to the tip. The forks have a shield just below their tines and the box is felt lined. The knives are 7 3/4" long while the forks are 6 3/4" long. The pieces are tarnished and 1 knife, as shown in the last photo, has a space between the handle and blade; strangely enough it is not loose and I cannot push it back in or pull it out farther.
