Glowing green under black light. Highly collectible glass elephant from Boda Zoo series, designed by Bertil Vallien. Features smooth and flat downside and textured upside. Excellent condition. Bertil Vallien (1938–) has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Boda, and Kosta. One of the most well-known clear glass series is "Boda Zoo”. In 1975, a group of about 40 animals with rounder edges were launched. In the 1980s, they were joined by about 10 figurines with sharper edges.
