(L) Cynthia Ashby Tank/Tabard

Cynthia Ashby is a design house that I've always thought of as "hippie couture", although I think there's a brand by that name nowadays. This is an unusual garment, sort of a tank top with an overlay that's gathered and attached at the side seams. It's designed for layering. The arm holes are quite large so whatever you wear underneath it will show. It's an absolutely gorgeous colour that I think of as wood rose, a deep warm pink. It's made from a blend of silk and viscose. Marked size large. The measurements will show you that it can be worn by a range of sizes, but it is intended to be oversize and loose so the overlay panels with drape beautifully.
