📜 Description
Lovely vintage L.E. Smith pink Depression glass handled tray featuring an elegant open heart handle and four gently notched edges around the rim.
Originally produced during the 1930s–1940s, this charming pressed glass piece was used as a tidbit tray, vanity dish, or ashtray, reflecting the romantic style of the era.
Under 365nm UV blacklight, the glass emits a soft orange-pink glow from selenium content—a hallmark of later Depression and early Midcentury pink glass production, when selenium replaced manganese and cadmium in the glass formula.
A beautiful and versatile collectible that adds vintage warmth to any vanity, dresser, or display.
